Last night, Curfew, directed by Shawn Christensen, took home the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. The story of a suicidal young man left to care for his niece for an evening, Curfew was shot on the RED ONE and has won over 30 awards in the last year. Also nominated in the Live Action Short Film category was Asad by Bryan Buckley shot on RED EPIC.

As always RED is tremendously excited about all the work shot on our cameras and gear. Flight, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Kon-Tiki, The Sessions and Prometheus all received the honor of a nomination at the 85th Annual Academy Awards. It was a year of amazing cinematic work and we look forward to 86th Annual awards with just as much excitement.
