RED DIGITAL CINEMA BRINGS ALL-NEW V-RAPTOR [X] AND V-RAPTOR XL [X] CAMERAS TO CINE GEAR EXPO LA
June 4th, 2024

RED DIGITAL CINEMA’S® all-new V-RAPTOR [X] 8K VV and V-RAPTOR XL [X] 8K VV will make their Cine Gear Expo debut June 7-8 at Warner Bros Studios in Los Angeles. RED will showcase the recently released large-format global shutter cinema cameras with demonstrations of its Global Vision suite of tools, including Extended Highlights and the buzzed about Phantom Track for virtual and live productions.

RED Global Vision uses the global shutter sensor in V-RAPTOR [X] and V-RAPTOR XL [X] to open unprecedented capabilities. Global Vision’s Extended Highlights mode allows the camera to see color and detail into extreme highlights like never before, providing even softer and more subtle highlight roll-off when in uncontrollable environments, and an overall dynamic range of over 20 stops. Phantom Track dual-capture streamlines any virtual production environment employing GhostFrame™ or frame-remapping, capturing distinct scenes (R3D clips) with one camera and allowing for monitoring of either view live on-set.

RED can be found exhibiting alongside fellow Nikon Group Partner Mark Roberts Motion Control on the Warner Bros. lot at 244 on Midwest Street.

In addition, Expo-goers can see the latest from RED throughout Cine Gear, including:
